2014 Fishing Season: It started as usual with high and cold water. However, at the end of April the "‘Kill” cleared up and water levels dropped, leaving a short window of around two weeks to fish with large streamers. The results were great; several 20”+ browns taken in front of the house and further down stream. Hard fishing, but very rewarding. The Hendrickson spinner fall hatch was not as great as it has been but we did have some good fishing in mid May late afternoon till early evening. June thru July was mostly swinging soft hackle’s and some fishing on top with small Blue Wing Olives. August-September was really slow as the river was almost at a all time low! This season I’m going to fish more with ants and beetles at this time. Give us a call at (802) 375-639 for up-to-date conditions. Regards, -Marty
